This policy explains what we collect when you use shoprigidboxes.co.uk or contact us, why we collect it and how long we keep it. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What do we collect and why?
When you send a form, email, call or WhatsApp message, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if provided, company name, details of the boxes you want and any files you upload. We use it to quote, proof, make and deliver your order and to answer your questions. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing that contract.

Which analytics and cookies does the site use?
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors move through pages. Both set cookies and record usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser, an approximate location from the IP address, and interactions with the page. Clarity may record how a visit unfolds, with form fields masked. Neither is used to identify you by name, and you can block these cookies in your browser without affecting any form.

How long do we keep your data?
Enquiry details are kept for 24 months from your last contact so we can answer follow-up questions and quote reorders. Order records, invoices and approved proofs are kept for six years for UK tax and accounting rules. Analytics data is kept for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated.

Who do we share it with?
Your details go only to the people and services needed to fulfil your order: our production partners who make the boxes, the delivery service that carries them, our email provider and the chat service that runs the on-site chat. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
What are your rights?
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@shoprigidboxes.co.uk and we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Privacy questions
Do you send marketing emails?
No. We email you about your enquiry and your order only.
Is my artwork used for anything else?
No. Logos and artwork are used only for your proof and your order.
Can I ask you to delete my details?
Yes. Email us and we delete enquiry details. Records we must keep for tax are deleted when the required period ends.
Are phone calls recorded?
No. WhatsApp messages stay in the chat history so we can refer back to your order.
What does Microsoft Clarity record?
How visitors move through pages, such as clicks and scrolling. Form fields are masked, so what you type is not recorded.
Is my data stored in the UK?
Our email, analytics and chat providers may store data outside the UK under their standard contractual safeguards.
Can I use the site without analytics cookies?
Yes. Blocking them in your browser does not stop any page or form from working.

How do I make a data request?
Email us from the address you used to contact us. We reply within one month.
