Terms of trade
These terms apply to every order placed with Shop Rigid Boxes. By approving a quote and a proof, you agree to them.
Quotes and prices
Every order is quoted in writing for a stated specification: construction, size, wrap, print, finish, insert and quantity. The quote is the price for that specification. Prices across the site start from £0.25 per unit, and rigid boxes are usually priced above that because of the board and hand work involved. If the specification changes, we send a revised quote before going ahead.
Proofs and approval
We send a free design proof for every order. You are responsible for checking text, spelling, colours, sizes and placement. Production starts only when you approve the proof in writing, and errors present in an approved proof are not covered by a reprint or refund. Production and delivery
Production takes 4–6 business days after proof approval. Delivery is free and tracked to one UK address and takes 2–3 business days. We deliver within the UK only. Times are estimates and we tell you promptly about any delay.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quote. Production begins once the proof is approved and payment is arranged as the quote describes.
Misprints and damage
Report misprints or damage within 10 days of delivery with photos, and we reprint or refund the affected boxes. Because every box is made to order, boxes cannot be returned for a change of mind.
Artwork and ownership
You confirm that you have the right to use the logos and artwork you send. Your artwork stays yours; we use it only to prepare your proof and make your order.
Terms questions
When is my order confirmed?
When you approve the proof and payment is arranged as your quote states.
Can I cancel after approving the proof?
Contact us at once. Once production has started, boxes made for you cannot be cancelled.
Who checks the proof?
You do. We prepare it carefully, but approval confirms that text, spelling and sizes are right.
Are delivery times guaranteed?
They are our standard times. We tell you promptly if anything changes.
What if the quoted specification changes?
We send a revised written quote before going ahead.
Do the terms cover samples?
Yes. Samples are quoted and approved in the same way as full orders.
Who owns the dieline and template?
The template is prepared for your order. Your artwork remains yours.
Can you print a logo I do not own?
No. You must have the right to use any logo or artwork you send.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
